Hi there,
I am trying to setup dual monitor on Ubuntu 8.04. I am a newbie to Ubuntu world, and could really use some help. I have an old NVIDIA video card with DVI and VGA outputs and don't know exactly the model, but installed EnvyNG-core and EnvyNG-gtk in Ubuntu 8.04. After successful installation, I am having trouble to use 'NVIDIA X Server Settings" (under System > Administration) to enable TwinView. Everytime I click on "NVIDIA X Server Settings" I get: "You don't appear to be using the NVIDIA X driver. Please edit your X configuration file (just run 'nvidia-xconfig' as root), and restart the X server." How to I enable 'NVIDIA X Server Settings" in order to activate TwinView? Thanks in advance for any help. Greatly appreciated. Huh |
