Damn, and to think I paid around $350 for my BFG 9800GTX OC at Best Buy. Well, at least my Step-Up won't be much!

poor nvidia have to lower the price even or noone will buy their 200 series. Now when ATI has showed what they go for, and the prices are good.

Brace yourself for more price drops of this nature...

The 4870X2 looks to be landing at under $500.

$469.95 at BB. I wonder if it will stay there.

At this price, I feel th GTX280 is over priced even at $369.00. Needs to be more like $300 I feel.

WOO! I love it.

The GTX260 will have to settle in at $239 now to compensate (2x260GTX SLI @ $480).

If the GTX260 becomes available at $249 or less on the shelf I will get it and drop it into my 2nd PC next to my 4870 rig.

Any time I want to test one versus the other in a new game I can!

Well at least I will get to test that myself now. We shall see.

TBH thought at 60 Hz with vSync enabled I am not getting dips anyway with the 4870. At least not in Grid, HL2:EP2, Mass Effect, COD4 and whatever else I have tried. Must be staying above at least eh 60 mark? But I only game at 1680x1050.
