Default OpenGL 3 Support

Dear people at nvidia,

will there be support for the recently released OpenGL 3 specification in the next (177 / 180) driver release?

There is support for it in the new windows beta driver, and, as I know, the windows and linux driver share most of the OpenGL part this should be possible, right?

Thanks in advance for the answer

I'm also really looking forward to it.
Any information would be really nice.

I don't expect a Linux driver with OpenGL 3.0 support anytime soon. One of the main reasons is that there is no GLX specification yet for a 'glXCreateContextAttribs' call which is required to create a OpenGL 3.0 capable context.
