You will need your cpu > 4Ghz to see much of a boost as the others have said, large CPU dependence.

IMO I would'nt care what the 3DMark benchmarks say ,it is how it plays in games ,Just like when the Radeon 2900XT came out ,it had high 3DMark benchmarks ,but when it came to games it did not play as well as you would have thought by looking at the 3DMark benchmarks
