You put the contents of the rar file into the directory of Crysis/GAME. That's it. Though you might want to delete that leaf file the op commented to get rid of the tree bug...

ah okay thanks for the reply. i thought i was doing something wrong
because im getting crashes using master config 3.01 and the 1.2 patch
when applying this high res texture update..

loading screen goes to 100, to
press any key and it just goes back to desktop.

did the fix in the rar alsoo hmm...

Try starting a new game... Or load your current level by hand, bring down the console and type it. Might be your saves? Or it might be the Mster config...

4gb definitely isn't enough ram anymore.

With this pack it's rather that 512 megs of GPU memory isn't enough.

im using 85% ram and vista is wanting to shut Crysis down, All other apps closed.

Sounds like it's time for 64 bit OS for you. I had the same problem trying to run the cinematic mod v 8 for HL2. It uses more than 3 gigs of ram and with 32 bit not seeing more than 3.2 gigs, the game crashes frequently.

I've ran this updated texture crysis with the mster config 3.XX with zero problems. yeah it takes a while longer to load but the system itself is happy with 4 gigs of ram. Alt+Tabbing out of the game shows plenty of ram left.
