I thought that SLI 8x was 4x MS (gpu1) + 4x MS (gpu2) + blend of the resulting images = 8x MS Somebody should bring some light here ![]() The main advantage of the SLI AA modes, is the lack of micro stuttering. You do not raise your frame rate, but you raise the AA quality. ![]()

Walterman, there were some articles on SLI-AA when it was first introduced, but, they haven't to my knowledge been updated past g70 (the gpu SLI-AA debuted on).
http://techreport.com/articles.x/8574/1 http://www.hardocp.com/article.html?art=Nzk4 Yes SLI-AA does remove microstutter - I've never experienced it myself and so long as the firepower is there to effectively use SLI-AA in a title it provides a very smooth experience IMO. Anyway, I most likely would not use SLI if SLI-AA were not available, and in fact I delayed upgrading from SLi'd G71's to G80 because it took time for nvidia to add in SLI-AA support (at one stage wasn't sure it was going to happpen).

I’d have to question the intelligence of anyone who chooses to live in Utah…
