If the gameplay trailer is any indication this could be very cool. So far I like the graphics, imo the locations could look pretty cool in game. (The character models could probably be a little better though.) There are so many strange, funky directions they could take a Trek themed mmorg to. Even planets and scenarios from the show's past would be cool. I like The Next Generation, I think it had a great cast. Pretty much everyone fit their part well. But I really like the old Trek's with Shatner, Nemoy, and the rest. Taken in the context of the times the original was just bad ass imo. People had never seen anything like that on TV before, and a liberal dose of hot chicks helped. ![]() Mmorgs aren't my kind of thing, but I might check this one out to see if they take advantage of the show's potential. |

Ya looks good to me too, and I don't like Mmorgs anymore, but I'll wait for the reviews and the community feedback...
Wonder how they will handle the grinding aspect... what if you could make a Mmorg with zero grinding ![]() |

Looks interesting, but here's hoping there's some good "events". I mean c'mon let the players defend the Federation at Wolf 359 again! w00t.
But in all seriousness I'm sure the game will take the good ole quest-grinding style game play. I mean the greatest part of ST was the telling of the story, now if they make quests highly interactive that could be cool. And how many episodes were about solving a problem enroute to solve another problem, I mean seriously if the Holodeck goes haywire and photonic armies storm the ship is it game over? Or should I just assign a maintenance crew to Holodeck 2 and bing the problem is fixed. With the loss of Atlantis and no new ST series my Sci-Fi mojo is severely weakened. ![]()

And one more thing if my engineer gains Legendary status they better give me a "More Power <Insert Chief Engineer Name Here>". And by God if he's not a slightly pudgy American speaking with a fake Scottish accent and doesn't reply, "I'm givin' her all she's got captain." I will /quit!
