Default Jericho

No one has talked about this game in awhile.

I picked it up cheap at Gamestop for 10 bucks so this means it wasn't that great?

I started to play it and it looks ok like a quake game with painkiller feleling to it so how is it?

The controls kinda blow a bit not not to bad.

Any thoughts?

I liked it, just not much replay factor in it.

Loved it, it's like movie, by Clive Barker and one of his best work. I'm looking forward to Jericho 2. I loved the idea of switching over different team members and use their ablities. The level design is pretty impressive and gory.

Very gory and the sounds are great if your in this kinda genre of games.

Kinda like how Undying was back in 2001. Good game but not much replay value thoguh.

Thanks vims.

As an FPS nut, I liked it... not love, but like... You have to realize that most review of FPS games are written for casual gamers, and not the hardcore. I remember Quake 4 getting lower scores because it was "same old same old" and "old design"... for me it was awesome to have a Quake game with great graphics.

So it depends on your interests.

That makes alot of sense.

Its about casual gamer from the eyes of reviewers so they won't give it the almighty 10 of 10.

I enjoy most of the shooters that have came out this last year but SOF payback which was an insult to the series.

Currently playing through it. I like it. Rail shooter but with enough uniqueness to keep it interesting. I may have to restart on Easy however, Normal is kicking me in the sack at the moment.

Oh yeah when you're playing Jericho, be sure to edit the config file to remove depth of field. It makes the game look a lot better because their depth of field is pretty poor. Hopefully Jericho 2 will have better, proper depth of field.

Yeah, it's been confirmed by Clive Barker himself.

"Rumours about a sequel to Jericho were confirmed when Clive Barker had announced his intention to make a sequel to the game. In an interview, Clive let slip that plot details include "an aircraft carrier in the middle of the ocean with exactly 666 children in its hold", and will reveal the fate of the remaining Jericho members, especially Ross, following the death of the Firstborn."
