This problem is back with 177.70 (exact same symptoms)

Seconded.
I'm not convinced that there's just the one problem, there are lines across the titlebar now that weren't there in previous aberrations. The usual bug for me can be seen most obviously when using the Compose Mail window in Thunderbird. The titlebar is updated with the subject line of the email, and it seems to overlay the "Compose Email" default window titlebar text. As it does this the whole window decoration intermittently vanishes, then goes clear, and variations on this theme. 170.68 still had a slight problem with the buttons for me, but the titlebar rendering was much improved. With 170.70 it is back to its usual poor self, with the addition of the aforementioned lines. I'm using the 6100 Go. |

I have it too, but I'm confused as to whether it's a bug in the NVIDIA driver or a (fixed) bug in Compiz. NVIDIA devs have referred to at least one of the latter.
Waiting for Intrepid Ibex to test a newer Compiz. |

I'm using Intrepid and the compiz version is 1:0.7.7 according to dpkg.
