My computer crashes with any type of overclocking using coolbits.

Yeah I can confirm this (and saw other reports too) coolbits seem to be broken in the 177.* beta drivers.

Happens here too. (6600GT). And from the readme it seems that this card is not supported by coolbits but it used to work anyway.

I have the same problem with the beta drivers 177.* on my 6800xe but the 173.* series works well
