Default Penumbra: Requiem Released

A new Penumbra expansion pack has been released. I call it an expansion pack because Black Plague is required. I've enjoyed the series, this one is meant to tie together the previous Penumbra games and give it a climactic resolution. I don't know if that means this is the last one. I haven't finished it yet but so far it's a great add-on with some great puzzles for only 9 bucks.

Nice low price.

I still haven't beat Black Plague though. It not bad, but it just isn't as fun or interesting as I'd hoped. The first one was also kind of disappointing to me.

I played the black plague demo, and it was really creepy. Good game, just don't have the time to play them all. ;(

Both black plague and requiem are short, about 4 and 3 hours long. Requiem is all about puzzles though, black plague was more story, monsters and using inventory items. For $10 though it's a nice deal.

Oh man. I just realized that I DID finish Black Plague a few months ago. I just had to look at a walkthrough to remember what happened.

This one is all puzzles thus far (which I like). I haven't run into a single creature yet (again, I'm fine with that). I'm liking it alot.

That sounds pretty good to me.

The enemies were just annoying in the first two games. They probably knew that people preferred the puzzle solving aspect of the game and changed this one a bit.
