Default Suse 11.0 _64 manual driver install

I'm trying to run a Xen version of Suse 11.0 and following this article:
http://en.opensuse.org/Talk:Use_Nvidia_driver_with_Xen
I am trying to install the 9631 drivers but they refuse to install.
Quote:
include/linux/autoconf.h or include/config/auto.conf are missing.
Attached is the nvidia-installer log.
I have checked: autoconf.h is there but auto.conf isn't, even after running "make oldconfig && make prepare" from /lib/modules/2.6.25.11-0.1-default/source/

What am I doing wrong?

Any help would be appreciated,
