Default nvidia driver 169.12, ubuntu 8.04, compiz 0.7.4

Hi,

Almost every time i minimize/maximize a window, or switching between windows, (or even changing between tabs in gnome-terminal), I get a flash of black screen on the whole window and then the actual window content appears.
This also make the whole action a bit slower.
HW: Dell Latitude D630, 4GB, with Quadro NVS 135M (rev a1)

Is there anyway to avoid this?

Thanks.

I think you could try some other driver, 177.70 should not give this problem.
