Hi,
i've gut Ubuntu 8.04. I've heard that it's possible to view 3D-Games in 'real' 3D with a kind of 3D-Glasses. My questin: Do the Linux-Drivers support these 3D-Glasses (under Windows, it works, I've seen Screenshots of it). My Graphics Chip is an Gefore 8600 GT with 512 MB RAM. P.S.: I'm sorry for my bad English Silvester |

I've worked with people using 3d glasses in Red Hat. I'm afraid I didn't go into to much detail with them about it though. It seems that in most cases they use them for 3d modeling of biological structures, but working in Linux is a start.

On Windows some drivers offer you some basic 3d glasses support in games. In general full 3d glasses ('stereo') support requires a Quadro card on both Windows and Linux. On Linux there is only full support which requires a Quadro board.
