I had it preordered but cancelled by order as soon as I found out it was coming to steam, now I have it preordered on steam. You may think it's cool to have the box and manual and all in the first 3 days, but after a few months, you'll be glad to just have it on steam. That's my experience with it. Only exception of course is if there is a collectors edition with extras discs etc.

I don't think there is any, preload when it launches, which imo is bad practice for digital distribution.
