After I installed the Nvidia drivers I can't start X server, unless I boot through failsafe when linuxconf loads it. Even when it's loaded I still have problems: X stops responding. I can move the mouse but this doesn't change anything!
Please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am new at linux but I think it's great. I want to change my operating system from windows to linux but I still can't. I have GeForce4 MX 420. My XFree is 4.2.1. eek: ![]() |

please, post the output of /var/log/XFree86.0.log and have a look into the output of dmesg (dmesg | less).
