new MP map

Multiplayer map industrial

The map, called 'Industrial', is a compact location, designed for a team play of ideally 4x4, though technically allowing the usual up to 32 players online or over LAN.

Once downloaded, the map files are to be extracted into the "mp" folder of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky root directory (for instance "C:\Program Files\STALKER_Clear_Sky\mp"). Then you can play on the new map.
Note: If you are creating the server, make sure you reboot your computer after extracting the map files.

Note: I know my sound card and the speaker are in good codition because it only happen in STALKER and Clear sky, other games like Vegas 2, mass effect, Two Worlds, CoH, Bioshock, CS:S and the others didn't got any sound error.
I don't know if anyone answered this for you but I have some ideas.

If you are in 'Gaming Mode' with the X-FI, try switching to entertainment mode and see if that helps.

Another siimple thing that can fix a 'lot' of X-FI issues is simply hitting the 'reset to defaults' button on the console.

Hope that is some use to you.

Despite some bugs this is by far the best game I've played in a long time, maybe since the last Stalker. The only thing that stands out as being this much fun in recent memory is Bioshock. I'd say this makes my top 3 list, beating out the origianl, which is HL2, Bioshock, and Clear Sky.

I managed to score a Machine gun from the Duty guys in Yantar, along with about eigth of their upgraded rifles, and they are still friendly with me, so I took their stolen goods back in and did an upgrade on one of them. LOL

It starts out a bit slow, and it's hard to find armor, etc, due to the the new repair and upgrade system, but once you get going and get working toward some upgrades it's a blast. At least for me I love the upgrades, like in Bioshock, becuase that really gives an element of strategy and something to move towards other than another map of guys to shoot at.

Since the GPU you have would not be sufficient for "proper" DX10 gameplay, then XP might save you a few headaches...
