Hello,
Quote:
On the other hand, kde4 on archilinux is not very fast but almost ok, on debian it's too slow and almost not usable. If I compare the glxinfo from the 2 systems, it's almost the same, but the archlinux version show a "GLX_NV_multisample_coverage" in addition. Could it impact the performance? What could it be there are those performance issue between the two systems? The archlinux one is fresh new, there are almost no service running. I've tested both 173.14.12 and 177.76. The debian is currently running the legacy 173.14.12 driver, and archilinux running 177.76 (maybe the reason for the difference with "GLX_NV_multisample_coverage"?). Archlinux was not better in performance with the legacy driver. |
