I still have my Intellimouse Explorer 2.0 that is serving as the mouse for my laptop. It's working just as well as the first day I got it.
For my desktop, I changed to the Intellimouse Optical "Special Edition" - 6000 dpi optical camera. It's great for gaming and after I got my rebate from Best Buy it only cost me $25.
