GOW mouse control was very good imo. The 360 ports I remember now (tested by myself) with poor mouse control are The Club, Kane & Lynch, Bioshock (this one was partially fixed with patch) and that tremendous pos called Shadowrun

If that is true, I will hold off until it's fixed. Personally I can't stand controllers for First Person Shooters.
