Default are these performance stats logical?

Hi all.

just installed a creative labs 3d blaster geforce fx 5900 Ultra with 256 MB. I used to have geforce 2 MX 200 with 64 MB ram.

the new card even comes with it's own power socket to boost power!!.

on my old mx 200, i was getting around 300 fps with glxgears.

However with the 5900, i'm getting 7300 fps!!!, and if i hide the glxgears window behind an another window i'm getting 12500 fps!!!.

these are very high stats!!, is glxgears broken? or this is for real!!.

if this is for real. THANK YOU NVIDIA!!! YOU ROCK!!!.

Thanks.

Default some additional info

forgot to say that i'm even getting the above stats on an old msi k7t Turbo, with only 4x agp, and only a 1.2 GHZ athlon. kernel is 2.4.20-19.8. nvidia drivers are 1.0-4496 .

so the cpu/agp aren't the latest and i still get the above stats!!.
