Oh geeze, the Matrox ones, a voodoo rushall the geforce highends no mxes and a few radions from the 9800 to a 3870 so maybe around 7500 bucks since 96 when 3d really took off with quake.

I started with an FX5900 for .............................. ........$100
Traded it in for a 6200 and paid an additional .......... ......$100 Traded it in for a 6600 (AGP) and paid an additional ... ......$50 Traded it in for a 6600 (PCI-E)and paid an additional .. ......$25 Traded it in for a 7800GT and paid an additional ........ .....$100 Traded it in for a 7950GT and paid an additional ........ .......$75 Traded it in for an 8800GTX and paid an additional ..... .....$400 (Bought the 8800GTX online the instant it was available.) Got a 9800GX2 for .................................................. ..$275 (I still have the 8800GTX.) Returned it (9800GX2) for a GTX280 and an additional ......$125 .................................................. .................Total: $1,250 (IF I had bought all those cards outright, it would have cost .......$3,175) ![]() I still have the 8800GTX and my new GTX 280 will arrive Tuesday. ![]() ATI Rage 128 VR Graphics with 8 MB of VRAM which came with iMac DV which was first system I used for gaming. ![]() EVGA Ti4600 which came with Alienware System, I still have card in storage. ![]() ATI Raedon 9800 Pro upgrade from Ti4600, still have this card as well. PNY Geforce 4 6800GT Upgrade from 9800 Pro, this card eventually went bad XFX AGP 7950 GT upgrade from 6800GT, still have in use in family members computer.Powercolor AGP 512mb HD3850 ![]() |
