Come on man, you posted an image with no links, names or any info of any kind. Why make a whole new thread if you're going to make everyone else figure out what you're talking about?

Built out of propriety part makes it hard to upgrade as you need to buy the custom (Tyan) mobo and stuff from the system builder.. if they for some reason go under, thats it..
And every upgrade will prolly come with a premium, and take a while longer to get available.

Some drawbacks, nice idea, but not very portable either.

Yeah its a neat idea but its totally impractical and I'd be surprised if it they even mass produce these things at all.

The hard core enthusiasts won't want it because its nearly impossible to work on and contains proprietary components, and the non hard core people wouldn't dream of spending $5,000-$10,000 for a gaming system that can't be easily upgraded and will be obsolete in a year or two.
