I was thinking of maybe adding a WTB/WTT thread in the FS forums. If people need something, they just post it there.

We don't allow them because its open to scammers. If someone makes a WTB post, anyone can PM them and say "send me the money and I'll send you the part". As it is now, people are required to register or post their feedback before anyone knows they want to sell anything.
I wish we could have a WTB thread but I don't know if it'd work so well if it was open to new users.

I know most people here are pretty reasonable but I think our complaints of scammers would go through the roof if we had lots of WTB posts. The only way I can see it being possible is if the WTB thread or WTB forum required special user access for long time members.
