Jeff it's not about fun or balance. It's about the half naked elf chicks and young males with a skull fetish. Period.

Swordmaster = Black Orc (abilities combo off of stances, sword master is a little squishier than borcs, but have a higher threshold for DPS via greatweapons)

Swordmaster = Chosen (chosen special abilities are their AOE debuff auras, but both SM and chosen rely heavily on magical damage based attacks, both are more offense oriented)

Ahah hahahahahahaha. Someone hasn't played the game yet.
I agree that tanks are more different. That is mainly because the true counterparts were removed in beta.

You know, I always thought it should be hard to play the good guys. After all, a rule of life is that it's easier to destroy than to create. Although I am new to the game, and I do find chaos to be rather strong, I also think that order can be as strong if played right. I think it should be this way.

We´re getting our asses handed to us by order most of the time really, atleast in T2.
Maybe they´ve had more time to learn to play scenarios with their shorter ques or something.
Frustrating to be the only one chasing the pacifier carrier in stonetroll crossing, when he is escorted by half his team, with the rest of the Destro players busy trying to nuke a Ironhammer that is being healed by 2 healers, who, without saying, noone seem to bother about.

The factions are balanced well enough guys.

The reason that Order wins most of the time is because a lot of people rerolled Order to get better que times in scenarios. A lot of these people are hardcore into RvR. I'd say more Destruction players are inexperienced than Order on average.

The biggest reason people rolled Destruction is because they have more of the 'cool factor'. The classes between the factions are balanced enough.

lol yea Destro pugs are absolutely notorious for this. fortunately most of the time I play with guildies so we really don't have that problem.

The problem I saw was that the chaos knight looks much cooler than any of the other classes, so at a glance more people click that. The order choices are cool, just not as cool as the knight.

The perpetual healing in this game is what killed it for me. Healers need to run out of heals and damage dealers need to run out of damage. They need a mana system instead of the stupid energy system.
