It acctually crashes? or you´re stuck at that screen since you cant distribute all the skill points? (I assumed the latter)
There was some mod to remove the 100 cap on skills to get around that btw.

What do you mean ? What is the highest level you can reach without this mod ?

It better not be 20 or something crazy like that . I'm leveling up like crazy as it is !

Why do you care? The game would just get ridiculously easy and there's a mod to fix the "issue" if it really bugs you. Anyway, it's not like you can't finish the all remaining quests, regardless of your level.

I hope you didn't pick those extra XP perks...

Probably did since Im at 18 hours in and only lvl 9...

Play style has a lot to do with it. You can slow down your leveling by acquiring companions, letting neutrals tank or even getting the mysterious stranger perk (that guy has stolen about 15 or so kills from me now!).

Even if you don't max your skills by level 20, it is definitely possible to do so by exploring for books.

I am level 18 now, so I am going to hit that limit real soon. I am doing quests real slowly but I am mainly exploring so the levels go real fast. I did take the experience perks, in hindsight I shouldn't have but it's to late now. I might have to get that mod soon.

ive gotten 2 companions and havnt run accross dogmeat yet. ^^ lotsa dogs around little light but didnt find anything there.

I've seen three, but there's like 6 or 7 of them. Are you sure you get XP for everything he kills, even enemies you don't do any damage to?
