Hopefully as I have only one HD I can manage that. It seems power plug should fall inside the HD cage therefore not a problem to pass cable around. For the 260, the card itself reach the HD cage. So short of attacking my case with metal cutter, I cannot even hope to fit it... power plug or not.

You just need to hack into the square holes with a hacksaw and bend the piece to the side with pliers.

All cards are going to be long because of all the stuff they put in them .You can buy a NZXT Tempest at newegg.com for $109 plus it has free shipping and it has plenty of room for larger cards .It will even hold a card longer then the GTX 280 plus it has plenty of cooling fans ,six all together.

Hmm ... the Antec Solo is not a small case by any means. But thanks for playing.

Thanks, Single Player... I might do that. Still on hold depending what next gen will be like.

Not a metal cutter but a metal file is your friend LOL. To fit my GTX260 in the guy who fitted it had to file away at the metal HDD cage (collect the filings) to fit it in. Eventually went in and it works perfectly but a real sweat to get it in. I have a Thermaltake Soprano Case.

He reckons a second card in SLI would be a doddle but I ain't going there!!!

Once bitten....

I agree cards should not be this big and NV and DAMATI should make they sure they fit in regular cases.

No problem here. My 932 will fit anything I put is there. it's $140.00 at microcenter and it has a really good cooling fan system.

I am getting tempted by that 932, but anyone know of a case which does not have anything in line of the PCI-e port so the case could accommodate even future crazy long card ?

I know the Antec P182 does if you don't use the middle cage so that's one option...
