Call of Duty: World at War Feedback Thread

Its been a few days and know nothing about it. So who has it, and is it worth buying, and is it fun?

played it a bit at a friend's house tonight.

Very, very similar to COD4, except obviously based in the pacific, and during WW2. The screen layout is exactly the same. Graphics look alright, just like COD4. There is also lots of bloom/HDR (i dont know the difference between the two

). Fun arcade shooter just like the last one. Nothing mindblowing, but good fun nonetheless....

haven't gotten into SP yet, but MP is great. runs as good if not better than COD4. if you liked 2 & 4 you'll like this one! being a big dog person the only thing i dont care for is killing dog's!!!! i know it's just a game, but still ...

yah i know. i didnt really get into that game. not a big fan of modern combat.

what if you liked COD2, but hated COD4?

Who hated COD4??? The game was monumental. If you didn't love COD4 MP and SP you aren't a true PC Gamer!!!

Too many crappy console games have people loving garbage games these days...lower standards, etc.

How 'bout the gore in this one? Body parts, etc.? A lot bloodier than CoD4.

Hm, I guess I'll have to pick this one up. Everyone abandoned the COD4 server.
