Works bloody awesome on my GTX 260.

MPlayer doesn't even register 1% CPU in top. Xorg is consuming about 4% playing back Grey.ts.

After i'ce installed driver ver. 180.08 all H.264 files play without an error, but i can't get rid of the vertical lines. I've tried the option "-demuxer lavf", but then the video doesn't start.

I've juste tried 180.08 and it seems to work fine with my HD movies (cpu at 3%) but the movie seems to go very fast.....known bug ? (I try with the sample in the readme)

And it's the same If I try without the -vc xxx.

The NVIDIA VDPAU implementation does not currently support Xinerama.

The "Planar YV12" message you saw indicates that HW-accelerated decoding failed to initialize, and so MPlayer picked a SW-decode surface format.

This is evidently one of the streams the MPlayer integration and/or NVIDIA driver currently has problems with. We are working to fix various such issues in some future driver release.

VDPAU crashes trying to play almost any h.264 video with an 8400M, even Grey.ts. Here's the trace on a 720p video.

Stopping X, reloading the nvidia module, and restarting X allow the 480p video correctly, however if I try to play Grey.ts it still crashes.

Even on 180.08 none of my 720 .mkvs work.
All give the same error:
