I took some 18 screenshots

everything in high

Anisotropic: 16x
Antialiasing: 16x
Antialiasing transparency: Supersampling
Force Mipmaps: Trilinear
Maximum pre-redendered frames: 8
SLI performance mode: Force alternate frame rendering 2
Texture filtering: High Quality

I am uploading one screenshot

I am really happy with this game, I'd say best game in PC for 2008

Sure, Crysis Warhead is the winner (from my point of view), but this game is a classic, and for me, I don't know

Both games are awesome, Crysis Warhead is a shooter, and this is an epic Adventure

so both games won my heart as a gamer this year and made me a happier person

This game is just straight up awesomeness!

Sure at times might be "too easy", but I just turned off the tips/tutorials in options.

Great dialogue, nice story, decent combat & incredible graphics. Good stuff overall.

Yeah this game deserves a 9.0-9.5 as a rating

I think GameSpot rating of 8.0 is way to low

GameTrailers gave this game a 8.7/10, and IGN 9.3/10

So I'd say 9/10 is an average, realistic review

I don't know why GameSpot gives low reviews to Prince of Persia (8/10), and a crappy game like Need for Speed Underground, receives a 7.0/10

That is not accurate

The only thing I dislike is Elika when she revives you, that animation gets annoying because you see it so many times

I just played some more... the game is pretty awesome, I agree. The no dying thing is kind of off-putting, like it was in Prey, but in the end the gameplay is what matters, and the game is very fun to play and look stunning.

I went back to playing with KB&M and actually found I prefered it... the speedy mouse look is just to good to lose. I also felt like the game felt smoother without using analog to look around. I felt like I was getting framerate drops using analog, but using the mouse it felt smooth.

Haven't had much time to play it, but plan on to tonight and tomorrow.

It simply looks fantastic, and it runs great, even with 4x anti-aliasing on a 1920x1200 screen with one 8800gt.

Bah, I might have to buy it just to support the no-DRM policy. I just wish they did the death part better than the way they did this game. Without the fear and possible frustration that comes from restarting from a saved point, the game just looses that edge the older PoP games had.

Same here. I didn't even "sample" this one first (don't want to contribute to their inflated piracy stats). People are saying it's pretty good, and no DRM, so I'm buying it. I don't care for the cell shade look, but I'm sure I'll get over that once I start playing.

I hope they sell a billion copies too so maybe, just maybe...they'll get it through their heads that the copy protection crap is not a good idea.

I like copy protection and DRM, well, maybe I don't "like it", but I think it's needed

However, obligating users to be registered to Windows Live in order to save game, going THAT far, it's just insulting

What if the Windows Live server crashes or is slow?
what if you want to play offline?

What if you're with a laptop, playing GTA IV in Big Bear with no Wi-Fi or no Internet Access?

Or in an airport??

I think GTA IV in PC deserves 1/10 because of insulting it's users.

I mean, sure, if you play at home, great game, but that's just taking DRM too far, way too far

I don't mind copy protection as long as it doesn't inconvenience the game buyers. I don't mind steam, even with it's flaws. I don't mind the need to activate a game online before buying using a serial number as long as I can always activate the game whenever I need to without limits. If limits are dictated then it absolutely requires a deactivate tool that doesn't require me to uninstall and reinstall the game in order to change my hardware. After buying Sacred 2 there is no way I will support a game that requires a uninstall to deactivate a game. It takes ~45 minutes to install sacred 2 (2 DVDs big + elite texture pack) Then you have to patch the game to the latest version and you can't just go to the latest you have to do the first patch then the second patch each takes about 15 mins each. The requirement to uninstall before any kind of hardware upgrade is absolutely unacceptable.
