Default What driver am I to use?? [6100]

I am running both Debian Linux, and also a Slackware derivative called Zenwalk.

I have an nVidia C51G [GeForce 6100 rev. a2] on board chip by Biostar. It seems to be a current chip but I can not seem to make anything but the very oldest series of drivers work. I see this chip on new MBs for sale at newegg.com.

What driver am I supposed to use? Is the 6100 relegated to the trash heap of old gear already?

Thanks in advance.
