Question COMMON PROBLEMS section in the README

Hi All,
I have a dual boot system running XP Home and Fedora 10. I have 2 nVidia GeForce2 MX/MX 400 video cards with a vga monitor connected to each. My dual monitors function just fine in XP and worked ok in Fedora 8. But I guess that things got changed in FC9 and my secondary monitor no longer would be detected using the default "nv" driver. Just yesterday I found instructions on how to install the nVidia legacy drivers (Mauriat Miranda http://www.mjmwired.net/resources/mj...ia.html#pci_id). Things went very well and after rebooting I had both monitors functioning.
I shut the system down and retired for the night. Today when I booted up I again had only one monitor.

Upon looking at my Xorg.0.log I found :
(EE) NVIDIA(1): Failed to initialize the NVIDIA graphics device PCI:1:0:0.

(EE) NVIDIA(1): Please see the COMMON PROBLEMS section in the README for

(EE) NVIDIA(1): additional information.

(EE) NVIDIA(1): Failed to initialize the NVIDIA graphics device!

(EE) NVIDIA(1): *** Aborting ***

UnloadModule: "nvidia"

Can anyone point me in the right direction to find this Readme file?

Thanks in advance,

Default Re: COMMON PROBLEMS section in the README

Hello and welcome. Nobody will pay attention to this in here. There's a Linux section in the forums...

Default Re: COMMON PROBLEMS section in the README (SOLVED)

Thanks Lfctony for your reply.

After some further googling I found what they were refering to, see:
http://us.download.nvidia.com/XFree8...DME/README.txt

If any of the admin guys read this, feel free to reposition it in a more appropriate forum.
