Black Bar on dual monitors?
I just set up a dual monitors on my PNY Tech. GeForce 8400 GC card using Ubuntu 8.10 intrepid, with a Samsung 19" LCD widescreen plugged in via the dvi and a Acer 17" LCD plugged in via the vga. I do have NVIDIA X server installed with NVIDIA Driver Version:177.80
My system is AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3 GB Ram Machspeed MB MSNV-939. The Samsung is the main monitor and is just fine... how ever the right hand side Acer monitor has a black bar area running top and bottom about 1/4 of the screen. If I drag a window it disappears behind this black bar? Is there anything I can do to fix this? thanks!!! corisa |
