Default Driver 180.18 x86_64 and 2.6.28-git - failed to allocate video memory

Vanilla 2.6.28 is OK. Happens with git kernels up to latest 2.6.28-git4 and on 2 boxes so far tested.
See full attached log.

Your Xorg log looks like mine, in http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=125503. It's not enough information though, attaching the output from `sh nvidia-bug-report.sh` is much more useful.

Does adding "nopat" to your kernel command line allow X to start?

Adding "nopat" to the kernel command line fixes it.
I shall submit the bug report later..... Thanks.
