Thank you, thank you, thank you... I spent the last week beating my head against the wall trying to figure out why 177.82 refused to install on kernel 2.6.28... I didn't realize there were beta drivers available. I installed 180.17 and the install and module build went fine. I've only been running about 1/2 hour so I can't swear to stability, but so far so good...
Slamd64 distro NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-180.17-pkg2.run GeForce Series 7 (7025 rev a2) Thanks again for ending the madness... -- who? |
