Default 96.43.07 driver, Java application gets "dirty".

When running the NVIDIA-Solaris-x86-96.43.07 driver, Java application gets "dirty".
This does not happen when running the default vgatext driver.
Attached you will see the jEdit application with some dirty spots. I think it started at version 96.43.07,
I am not sure which version but with a previous version it did not happen.
There are other Java applications with the same problem
