I hated the first one because the loading times are obscene. The game was good. But good grief, optimize the loading times PLEEEAASE!

I played it later, and I think it was pretty good game, dx10 looked pretty nice too. The voice work was superb and the little bullet gameplay elements were interesting enough to me. Worth a look.

I got this game free when I bought my X1950 Pro, and just sat there until I eventually got a 8800GT and I finally played it.

Very fun game, pretty good graphics, I agree the sneaking parts were very boring though.

You mean you got the original game for free, since this game hasn't released yet...

I agree Magus. He needs to learn to read.

Also, I hope they don't release this in Europe a year before our version comes out. It seemed to confuse a lot of people... \

I remember posting that I had it and enjoyed and it people were "Like, WTF"?!

on both installations it was just too long..that's why they have the characters read a book while the game is loading. On any PC I've ever installed it is too slow. Look at my rig in my sig, when I load a game the guy will read his chapter and then I'm still waiting...it's like playing postal 2 before they patched it.
And yes I defrag everything every 2 weeks.

Man, I just loaded the game up again for the first time in forever and it STILL runs choppy in DX10 with max settings, even on a GTX 260.

Great game though.

Maybe alright for you.

DX10 on my 8800GTX was way too slow for a good experience. I set it to DX9 and lowered a few settings and it was buttery smooth and still looked great.

Its definitely a game I'll replay after my next big system upgrade though.
