I'm still debating to wipe my XP install and put Win7 x64 Beta on or not. I don't have an extra HDD.

After using since Win95 my taskbar at the bottom, I've moved it to the left and starting to like it alot. It really feels like this taskbar was designed to be there. Nice find!

I have found for me doing a reinstall of it from the Program Files folder where it was installed to begin with seems to work.

In case you need it, here is the page that contains the latest OpenAl download:

http://connect.creativelabs.com/open.../AllItems.aspx

Look for "oalinst" in the downloads.

DONT TRY THE K LABS ANTIVIRUS windows 7 preview. it will botch your wired connections and make you spend 2 days trying to figure it out.

That's a pretty through list of tips. I doubt I'd remember very many of them but I'm definitely going to try the window docking and the system repair disc. I've sort of done the system repair disc using the Vista PE, but it doesn't have any tools other than a command prompt.
