360 demo I played wasnt half that bright!

I have the patch and the latest PhyX - the crashing is still there, as well as the "too bright" bit.

Damn, I really liked the feel and the look of the game when I started it up for the first time. ******************. :/

Yeah great pics and info guys, will pick it up ASAP when it's out on STEAM!
But wondering if it's any idea as I only have an 8800GT 512Mb and are not sure if I should just get an GTX280 and o/c or get the newer GTX285.

Then the game will surely fly and I can use my old card just for PhysX as it was intended

Hey, hey, hey - the 8800GT was not intended for PhysX.

But could be used.

If you wanna max out the game at reasonably high res, the a more powerful GPU would obviously be the right choice. Ig you have not got money to burn, then the 8800GT should play it quit well on probably, high settings with some AA at 1280x1024, maybe 1680x1050 would not be bad either.

My 8800GTS runs it great, using latest drivers. Also it seems to like to crash with 4XAA so i turned it down 2xAA and its been fine now. No slow downs with the physX effects, they look cool.

Yeah - I have not had much slow downs with the PhysX stuff either. Does the game look too bright for you? SSs? ;P

Up on Steam now... contemplating getting it... thought it would get boring after playing the demo on PS3... but a friend of mine tells me it is really good... hmmmmm.
