Seagate Barracuda ST31000340NS 7200.2 1TB 7200rpm 32MB SATA2

or is it 7200.11 only?

ST31000340NS is not from the 7200.x series

ST31000340NS is ES.2 drive and yes it it also affected it can die anyday for no reason

damn that´s not good for seagate taht has been a reliable drive maker for ages it feels.

so if i´m gonna go between SAMsungs F1 750 or WD Black 640/GP 640 wich of the WD is better for raid GP/BLACK?

too bad for seagate and customers

don't get GP if you want performance, get either the Blue series or Black. Black is better but difference between Blue and Back (for the 640gb) drive is very small.

So if back cost a lot more go for blue.

GreenPower are excellent if silence and low power are most important features of a drive.
Perfect place for GP is HTPC or external enclosure

yeah just today noticed what GP is and i have 2x 1TB of those with my OS on one of them

good for storage and backup but for gaming and os i don´t know
