Funcom sincer the game director "switch" is working great,adding content and fixing end game like pvp and siege battles...

I'm very curious to see how this effect performance and graphics. The graphics are already good, though a tad bland for my taste - everything seemed to look the same.

at the moment AOC's Graphic is outstanding,no need of upgrades,but with directx10 more eye candies will be added with some performance cost for sure,some videos:

Well just re-installed, took around 1 hour to download & install the updates lol BUT wow the game is 10x better than release, the game has been re-optimized well, runs smoother(im actually playing with higher gfx settings than i was before and its still smooth, looks great) .... the characters classes have been balanced alot more, the XP PvP leveling has been implemented properly & alot of the bugs/quest bugs have gone, theres new areas added, more items ... im well impressed, if you look around the net about how this game is NOW you will see very good reviews, i must say im well impressed & im again hooked lol, thought i would start fresh, started a new character on the Fury PvP server(kind of a personal re-launch lol).

Anybody who liked this game before but got stick of all the buggs, unbalanced classes, choppiness, lack of items and so on i urge you to give it a re-try, the game is a blast NOW, if Funcom had waited that extra few months to get the game as it in now at re-launch i guarantee the game wouldent have had that drop of players, people are slowly comming back though and those that hated it before love it now!

One thing i have noticed is most of the high lvl vs low lvl ganking has gone, The ganking only really happens in the early part of the game "Tortage Island" .... after you get out into the Hyborian wide world "MOST" people at higher lvl's just run straight past you.

I want my Barb to be meaninful again. Right now Barbs are useless, low HP, crap armor and no debuffs etc for damage taken and no buffs for damage done!

Even a demo can reflect damage...and thats with clot armor.

Demos / Necros / HoX can one shot a barb!!! That's just not fair!!! A Barb is class which should be resilient and have more damage. Afterall Conan is a barb...but...ironically, the barb class is the weakest ....atm.

Picked this game up from gogamer.com for $13. I figured for a month of gameplay, $13 was a good deal!

I started playing over the weekend and it's pretty fun. The game doesn't feel as polished as Lord of the Rings Online and doesn't quite have the environmental charm of LOTRO, BUT I really dig the combat!!

I can see myself playing for the whole month and maybe even another if it stays engaging. I'm looking forward to the DX10 upgrade!!

There are some issues with the new patch (what's new?) specifically with graphic corruption. And for me with the 295 gTX, the performance has gone down...in some situations....but still playable and still fun.

Game play is brilliant for me for all classes I have rolled for PVE. I have rolled, Barb (lvl 80), Tos (lvl 31), Bear shaman(lvl 35), Guardian (lvl 70) and they are all fun to play in PVE. Ok, except the barb, the barb is gimped for PVE but, you have to learn to adapt to your chosen feats)

PVP apparently needs more balance

They recently added Yimir's Pass (brilliant for 60-70 toons) and now, Slaughterhouse (lvl 80 SP) and Xibabalu or something (lvl 80 dungeon for MP) and other parts which extends the funs RAIDing for gear!

Yeah, it's keeping me entertained! The PVE is very enjoyable. I'm not a big PVP fan anyway...

For PVP I stick to games like Enemy Territory Quake Wars and Battlefield 2...
