Corsair 620HX PSU + GTX280

I think 550w is recommended for the 280, don't know about the amps though.

Just to add my 2 cents, I'm using that CPU and recently installed a GTX 285, works great. Also installing a Q9650 CPU today w00t!

Would I need to reinstall windows or would it be okay to just slap the card in and play...

Uninstall the drivers, run a driver cleaner, then install new card.
