Yeah its an open city and you pull up to a light to start an event. If you wreck your car you can drive into a repair shop to fix it.

So what about that demo that they talked about?

They said we'd be able to download the whole game as a "trial". You could do anything you wanted but there was a limit on how long you could play.

I'm assuiming that, along with a Steam version, is coming later.

The question is: can I hold out?

I get off work in 30 minutes, and I bet the answer is no.

Sounds like there is no Lan MP support. If it works as crappy as TDU did then you can count me out.

"Save and quit" under the options menu... annoying.

Game is a great port, I bought it on Direct2Drive. It runs silky smooth for the most part at highest settings, even on a single GTX 260 like mine. I can't enable SSA or anything, but it's brand new game, so I didn't expect to. Some distant shimmering jaggies show up even at 8xMSAA, but it's not too bad. Look a lot better at high res, but it's not much different than the console game, so if you own that you might not think it's worth upgrading.

Still, good port... I am happily suprised.

Wow, nevermind... forcing SSA through nHancer works marvelously with little framerate loss. With that forced, an all in-game settings at max except motion blur, which I don't like, I get 40-50fps even at insane speeds, and the game looks amazing.

Woot.
