That's very strange, especially those "Unknown" entries shown on one of your shots.

Which version of nHancer are you using? The latest is 2.4.2.

I'm using 178.13 myself, together with 2 GTX280, and so far I haven't noticed any missing AA modes. But in any case, those "Unknown" entries should not be there, even if nHancer couldn't identify your cards.

So please uninstall nHancer and reinstall the latest version.

Let me know if that made any difference!

I thought I was on the latest version of nHancer, I'm pretty religious about that, but it turns out I'm using 2.4.1.

Will give the latest version a whirl and see what happens.

That fixed it, and an exciting new discovery (for me at least) 16xS + 2x SLI AA! I was always sad that they removed the g7x style SLI-AA modes from g8x, I'm glad to get one back.

Now how about 8xS + 2x SLi AA nvidia?! You could add it when you add multi monitor SLI support.....

The discovery ended up being not so exciting - OpenGL only. Come nvidia, why the ridiculous restrictions? If g7x was capable of this form of SLI-AA in D3D (and I know they were), surely to god G80 and GTX2xx are also. Its not as if the hardware has gotten less powerful over time....

It'd be nice to get sharpness enhancement back as well.

Question Re: nHancer feedback thread

Thank you.

Doesn't nHancer unlock extra SLI AA modes ?

Something like 2x2 RGSS (1x2 RGSS per GPU) ?

Does nhancer override settings in the nvidia control panel?

So if I want 16Q AA in game, does it matter if I what I set AA in game or in control panel?

Trying to get rid of shimmering in Burnout.

If the game has built-in AA control, set it there. Then set the control panel to application controlled. After that, in nHancer, select the game profile, your desired AA level, and make sure the "enhance in-game AA setting" box is checked. Should work fine from there.

Thanks, set it to 2AA in-game, and 8s in nhancer... looks great.
