Thinking of getting this card.

Can you run multiple monitors with it? Also, do I have to do anything to the extent of running SLI or enabling it or what? The whole 2 cores throws me off...

You can run 2 monitors with it. I think you can disable 1 core if you want, but by default they both run. There's nothing to it, really, it just runs like a normal card.

Can I run multiple monitors with both cores activated?

I assume so, what would be the point if you couldn't?

I am just wondering if this is like the older "sli in one" card where you weren't able to.

Hello.
With my first post, I will say I've been unable to find any 295's at the usual places.
Does anyone know when resellers will be shipping them again?

No issues with stuttering in Crysis Warhead, as compared to the 9800GX2 I was using before, which went nuts in the first level, in the Train level and in the Ice level.

However, other changes helped a lot as well. My initial stuttering issues were running 32-bit Vista and 32-bit CW on the GX2. Switching to 64-bit Vista helped quite a bit even running the 32-bit CW executable, but I could still only run Gamer settings at best.

Bumping up to the 295 I could now run Enthuiest settings on the 32-bit CW executable with no discernable stuttering, and the 64-bit executable helped a tad more.
