Some updates decided to make my wifes laptop unusable(BSOD every 10 minutes or so, stuff broken), Vista SP1, about 2 minutes boot time. I knew it would screw up eventually.

I installed Linux Mint and got KDE4.2 on and it fly's. She has 20Gb left instead of with Vista it was 6Gb. Specs are Celeron 1.5Ghz/512mb ram/onboard Intel graphics and here card games all work in WINE.

Lesson learned.
