Help with compiling kernel/module

Hi i just recently installed Red Hat 9. I have a biostar motherboard with the nforce2 chipset. I am having problems compiling the kernel. If i make it so the agpgart is including i get this error compiling it. If i make it as a module the kernel will compile fine, but the module will not. This is the error below.

Now do i need to actually compile the module? Or has it already been installed? I am running 2.4.20-8 kernel and had rebuilt the source rpm and patched the kernel as NVIDIA's instructions said. So if anyone has suggestions, it would be very much appreciated.

I read the forums and noticed something about it not working with red hat kernels, so i went and got the source for vanilla 2.4.20-9 and got the nvidia rpm for it , instead of rebuilding like i did before, and i get the exact same error :-(. Please if anybody has a suggestion i could really use it.
