There's nothing obvious in Ubuntu's changelog, but they only list their own patches and not the changes between software revisions.
I think it was an inefficiency in XULRunner mentioned in this forum a while ago. NVIDIA said they'd addressed the performance problem with Digg.com on Firefox 3 in their own driver but haven't released an updated driver since. I guess the Mozilla devs got there first. |

The sample page has improved with current drivers (180.29), but it is still slightly slower than other pages when scrolling or switching tabs.
