Default recent Fedora 10 upgrade incompatible with 96.43.09

Recent (since 06 March 2009) Fedora 10 upgrades appear to have broken driver 96.43.09 for GeForce4 card in laptop. Running x86, kernel 2.6.27.12-170.2.5.fc10.i686 with all upgrades current to 10 march 2009 applied (from Fedora repo). Problem is that some applications requiring accelerated 3D cause X-server to shut down and restart. Tested trying to run extreme tux racer, and google-earth.

I'm concerned that this could become a permanent issue if Fedora does not fix the upgrades causing this problem.
