3v3 is interesting because the advantages that paladins have don't mean so much if you do a high burst setup with decent CC, which isn't hard to get. I play feral druid / holy paladin / survival hunter, I've also done feral druid / resto shaman / unholy dk, and feral druid / mutilate rogue / resto shaman. Here its way more about proper CC timing because your healer can't just faceroll you to the top. I'd like to do 3s more but so far every team I've formed hits like 2100 and then one of us leaves for whatever reason so I have to find somebody else.

Also, Jeff, I'm not just into PVP, it's fun sometimes, but I like raiding a bit more. I just hate having to wait or spend numerous hours in an instance. It's soo time wasting, so if I can get with a decent crew that do the 10 mans, or whatever, I was thinking that would be the ultimate.
I dunno though we'll have to see.

I played WoW since launch. WotLK is the same as 1-70. There are some new twists on the quests, mainly, a lot of phase shifting, where you complete long quest chains and buildings and things change, stuff like that. There's bombing runs like in Outland and the use of vehicles and specialized mounts. They did a lot of that.
However, most of it is kill 10 of these, bring me back 6 of those, use this item on 10 of these, etc. It's really the same old thing. Then at 80 you can grind some of the reps for vendor items, just like in Burning Crusade with Aldor, Scryer, Lower City, all that stuff. The dungeon runs are a bit easier than the level 60 or 70 game. As such I have finally quit WoW, I got bored, hit 80 back in December, about a month, many hit it much earlier in my guild. The new areas are very well done and nice, more akin to old world Azeroth and not wierd and spacey like Outland. It was just time for me to move on, I never played a game as long as I did WoW, over 4 years. |

This is a 1 boss only raid; which involves a few trash, then a boss. The trash pulls before it are very few, the whole raid takes little time. The boss also drops some tier 7 (10 or 25 man), not tokens, but the actual armors, and some other stuff. My hunter (currently an alt) got the t7.5 chest from h VOA tonight; about 15 min raid... It is possible to get some gear in this way; which tied to the Wintergrasp event also makes it easily accessible to PvPers as well. Naturally however, for PvP people do at times want slightly different stats, ala resillience and more stam (though my shamy which was largely BT geared with a bit of tier 6 was a monster in BGs, even in his t6 lvl PvE gear). It isn't the 6 hour raid for this instance, or obsidian (though there's more trash in obsidian, along with several dragons which a group might chose to kill or leave up for the achievement). It's still fairly shortish.... The t7 chest (not the 25 man one though) and gloves can also be bought with heroic badges, along with stuff for a few other slots.... This said, most heroics (outside violet hold), will be longer then running VOA if he's short on time....) |

Yea see, I had 100 days played around 1.5 years after it came out. I was in open beta for awhile then got the game immediately. But that was my issue, it took up MOST of my free time. I don't like games that do that, but I don't have a good game that I can play with friends or whoever and have the lasting-ness that WOW has.
I'm waiting for Diablo 3, but I wish there was a game like that now to have hoards of fun with a friend of mine.
